A Liturgical Story in Pictures

I'd just like to share three pictures with all of you. Each is of a different stage in the life of the famous 'Altar of the Chair' at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

Above- the old high altar, marble, against the wall for Mass said versus Deum.

Above- the modern bronze anvil style altar that was put in under the reign of the liberal wreckovators. The beautiful marble altar against the wall was removed and replaced by a less aesthetically pleasing altar.

Now under Pope Benedict XVI- the old new altar is gone, and an absolutely beautiful traditional altar sits in its place.

Thank God for the Holy Father!

How could the Novus Ordo-ites deface the chair of St. Peter with a crappy anvil altar? I just don't get it!!!!
